Hello class! This is Towako from MEL School.
How are you doing?
It's Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013.
It's rainy and cold today. Most of the students were wearing coats when they arrived at MEL School today. The rain keeps falling even now, and it will be raining tomorrow, too.
We learned about "age" yesterday. Were you surprised to find the woman lived that long even though she smoked over 100 years and tried many things? What about the oldest person you know?
How does she or he live his or her life?
Do you think you can try a new thing at the age of 85?
It is said you are never too old to start a new thing.
Of course, you are still young and you have a lot of things ahead of you.
The important thing is, like it is said in the article, enjoying life and not getting bored with it.
As for the Bridge Work, you had a hard time practicing how to use indirect speech properly.
I can tell, though, you are getting better and better. Let's work hard next time again, shall we?
Our speaker yesterday was Yu. He talked about his trip to Shiga. He visited many famous places.
Next speakers are Yuka and Michihiro.
Get ready for your speech!
