Lesson Report Advancing-1 March 3rd

Hello class! This is Towako from MEL School.
How's everything?
It's Tuesday, March 4th, 2014.
It's officially spring, but the wind is still cold.
As Azusa talked about the reason why Doll festival isn't national holiday anymore, it's still cold in early March.
We learned about why there are different kinds of sayings from country to country.
Sayings play an important role in our society.
They are, to some extent, reflection on our culture.
If you have a chance to talk with someone from other countries, why don't you tell them about interesting sayings in our country and ask them to talk about theirs?
It's really hard to explain those things in English as you will have to tell them about the background of the saying as well. But, you'll be able to do that better if you try hard whenever you have a chance.
Our speaker yesterday was Azusa.
She talked about Dall Festival as I mentioned earlier.
It was an interesting story, wasn't it?
The next speakers are Minori, Momoko and Aoi.
Get ready for your speech!
