Hello class! This is Towako from MEL School.
How are you doing today?
It's Tuesday, October 1st, 2013.
It's rainy today. It's Citizen's Day Tokyo. Do you have classes at school?
We learned about China yesterday.
There were some unfamiliar words to you, but I hope you understood the country very well.
We hear news about China almost every day, don't we?
Are you interested in visiting there?
As for me, I've been to Hong Kong, Macao, and Shenzhen many times but never been to Beijing or Shanghai.
Our speaker yesterday was Akira.
He talked about the logo of Apple Inc. The logo is a bitten apple.
The apple is said to be food for thought and "bite" has the same sound as "byte" which is one of the computer terms.
He heard the story from his teacher at school and thought it interesting.
If you have an interesting story to share, why don't you introduce it to the classmates.
