Yes. Everyone was sitting at his or her desk when the lesson started.
Did anyone get a full score on the speech test?
No. No one got a full score on the speech test.
But everyone tried hard!

Ron was so embarrassed at going into a wrong classroom that he sweat a lot! 
Unfortunately, we had no speakers yesterday.
