Dear Advancing Students,
You might have thought clean water is given, not a thing that you need to make any effort to get.
But clearly it isn't for most of the world especially where population is increasing rapidly but water supply is scarce, such as Africa and Middle East.
Even in Japan, we may not have enough water if we tried to produce all foods, meat, milk, vegetables and grains. They were grown with water in other places.
