MEL Schoolは6月30日で創立9周年を迎え、7月から10年目に入ります。

News-1 8月5日夏季校外イベント申込開始

今年の夏休みイベントは水族館+ランチビュッフェです。
 7月にリニューアルオープンする品川のエプソン水族館で目玉のイルカショーを楽しみます。
ランチはホテル最上階のビュッフェで食も満喫できます。
学年、クラスを超えてのイベントに参加してぜひ楽しみましょう!
日時:8月5日(水) 10:00 三鷹駅改札前集合 
16:00 三鷹駅にて解散予定(中学生以上は事前に保護者の許可があれば現地解散も可)
申込締切:7月15日(水) クラス、氏名を書いた封筒に参加費を入れ講師に渡してください
*申込多数の場合先着順で40名に達した段階で締切ます。

今年の夏休みは8月5日(水)- 8月15日(土)です。

夏休み明けは8月17日(月)から順次レッスンを開始します。
夏休み期間中スクールは休業なのでご連絡はメールでお願いします。

News-3 英検能力測定のご案内
10月11日(日)実施の2015年度第二回英検に先立ち能力測定(無料)を行います。
希望者はレッスンの際に講師に申し出たうえで予約者票に記入してください。
5級・3級  8月20日(木) 
4級・準2級 8月21日(金) 
2級     8月24日(月) 
*集合時間はいずれも午後2時です。
 所要時間は5-3級は約1時間、準2級は1時間半、2級は2時間程度です。
*実施日に参加できない場合は自宅受験することが出来ます。
*申し込み後欠席や遅刻の場合は必ず事前にご連絡ください。

News-4 Tablet PCの活用
高校2年生以上のクラスでは、Tablet PCを使ったライティングの練習に加えてプレゼンテーション原稿の掲示とコメントの書き込みも始めました。大学の学習環境は勿論、TOEFLなどPCを使った試験も広まっているので今後使いこなせるように練習してもらいます。

News-5 TOEFL-iTP試験実施
Advancingクラスの生徒は22、24日に米国留学に際しての能力測定や大学のクラス分け試験に使われているTOEFL試験のペーパー版を受験しました。2時間休みなしで語彙やリスニングに相当苦労したようです。留学に際しての正式試験ではPCを使った4時間の長丁場。国際競争力とはそういうものです。
